SX1233 RF Transceiver Wins for Best Design in RF Circuit Category

CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Semtech Corp. (Nasdaq:SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, today announced it has won the prestigious Electron d'Or award from ElectroniqueS magazine in France for "Best Product of the Year." Semtech won in the RF and time-frequency category for its innovative SX1233 high bit rate, low power, integrated UHF transceiver. The Electron d'Or is awarded to companies that develop innovative products with performing excellence.

The SX1233 transceiver has extremely good receiver selectivity that guarantees isolation from in band RF interferences. The SX1233 is designed into applications such as; water, gas, electricity, smart meter communication, home & building, energy control, wireless alarm and security system, and wireless sensor networks.
